Australia’s biggest drone race in Canberra

Over 70 of Australia’s best drone pilots will be pitting their drones against each other this weekend for the 2022 Australian Drone Nationals at ADFA oval. There’ll be a variety of races over the weekend, which won’t just be straight-line racing – there’ll be drone stunts and tricks and obstacle-dodging flights as well.
You might find yourself buying a drone on Sunday evening, is all.
Classic car show in Yass

Day trip an hour into Yass this Saturday as Zac’s Place community centre is swarmed by classic cars, from the spluttering early 1900s right through to the cool ’70s. There’ll be something for everyone to get excited – or deeply nostalgic – over.

They’ve toured with Opera Australia and multiple Australian and international orchestras, and now the Australian Tenors are finally in Canberra. They’ll be singing favourites from Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Messiah, as well as songs everyone knows and loves.
Oh, and while it says tenors, Opera Australia’s soprano Clarissa Spata will also be on stage as a guest singer.
