Police are searching for a man accused of breaking into an unlocked vehicle before allegedly threatening its owner with an undisclosed weapon.
It’s alleged the man walked up the driveway of a unit complex on Thynne Street in Bruce at about 6:45 am on Monday (10 July).
It’s believed he came across the “insecure” vehicle before being confronted by its owner.
“The man is then alleged to have produced a weapon during the confrontation before departing the area on a bicycle,” a police statement said.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance with a thin build and brown, collar-length hair.
The man was wearing a navy blue jacket, dark pants, and a camouflage cap, and riding a black mountain bike at the time of the alleged aggravated robbery.
