Let me take you on a look in at a home in Crace, which Daniel dreamed up, designed and built from the ground up.

Being the head of Megaflora and having a background in design and architecture, Daniel let his imagination run free to design this celebration of angles, colours, texture, light and spaces.

The love that has gone into the home is evident, as is an amazing amount of passion for custom elements, unique materials and tricky engineering solutions.

Let’s meet Daniel and take a look inside.

Yes, it’s very unique design indeed with lots of colours and timber inspired by trends of 1960s and 1970s. It exhibits that charm of mixing modern with antique around the house. Flooring is excellent, I wish they showed it more on the video. I think everything does compete for attention rather than does not. Probably such colourful storm will not appeal to everybody. But if it does then this is truly dream home. “Great views” however look more like “Great compromises”.. While indeed this home is in the top position all surrounding areas is littered with houses. A lot of effort was made to maximise natural light with providing some privacy rather than simply open it all up and enjoy unhindered views from each room. The same house built on a coast instead of densely packed Crace could have far better views, effortless privacy with far more feel of air and space. It would have more intrinsic value too. So overall, this unique house has great design and its own charm albeit situated in the wrong location.
