Alleged Anaconda Fyshwick fish finder thieves sought by police

Police have released images of two men they wish to identify after the alleged theft of valuable electronic devices from an outdoor store.

It is alleged that around 12:45 pm on 30 November 2024, two men entered Anaconda in Fyshwick, took two fish finder devices and left the store without paying.

These devices help boaters locate fish underwater. They cost at least several hundred dollars and can run into the thousands.

On Wednesday (29 January), ACT Policing released images of two men they wish to speak to as part of their investigations.

“Police would urge the men to present themselves to the nearest police station,” a police spokesperson said.
