The ACT has recorded 458 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 260 identified by PCR and 198 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).
There are now 50 people in hospital, including four in intensive care and two being ventilated.
This brings the number of active cases in the ACT to 2530. Yesterday there were 428 new cases.
The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.6 per cent while 58.9 per cent of ACT residents aged 16 and over have received a booster shot.
NSW recorded 6686 new cases and 22 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Victoria recorded 7223 new cases and 18 deaths.
