The ACT has recorded 696 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 375 identified by PCR and 321 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).
There are now 39 people in hospital, including two in intensive care and one being ventilated.
The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.6 per cent while 68.7 per cent of ACT residents aged 16 and over have received a booster shot.
NSW recorded 10,017 new cases and 10 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Victoria recorded 5721 new cases and 24 deaths.
