Does Katy Gallagher even want to be Chief Minister? How was this photo opportunity missed?

Territory and Municipal Services are letting you know that they’ve built a giant swing in the mountains.

“The Giant Swing allows users to be lifted to heights of their choice up to 12 metres,” said Annamaria Zuffo, acting Principal, Birrigai Outdoor School.

“During the activity participants will be hauled up by their team to release themselves to swing and be amazed by the spectacular views of the Paddys River Valley and Bullen ranges have to offer.

“The Giant Swing is suitable for adults and children three years and older and is an ideal birthday gift for any outdoor adventure lover. The Giant Swing is also perfect for workplace team-building activities as it helps bring out qualities of leadership and cooperation.

“Weekend bookings are preferred with group sizes between 10 – 15 people per session.

“The Giant Swing is part of the Birrigai Outdoor Adventure programs. Other new activities include abseiling, an obstacle course requiring teamwork and lateral thinking and an activity called Escape from Bull Ant Flat. This activity consists of eight challenges designed to sharpen leadership, communication and organisational skills.

I wonder how much their public liability insurance cost?

I so want to go on that. The Birrigai website doesn’t give any clues as to how to get in line.
