Canberra Chess Challenge 9 is on Next Week

The Canberra Academy of Chess is running the Canberra Chess Challenge 9 on Friday, 2nd October at Melba Copland Secondary School. The Swiss tournament is an individual event for players under 18 years of age, with 8-rounds and a time control of 15 minutes per player per game.

The Canberra Chess Challenge 8 in July this year, attracted 53 players, including 2 from Hobart. The winner of the event was Dexuan Kong, followed closely by Ben Lester.

When: Friday 2 October 2015
Time: 8.45am to 3pm
Where: Melba Copland Secondary School
