Driver caught drug driving at double the speed limit

A 37-year-old woman has been caught allegedly going 122 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. She is also alleged to have tested positive to a prescribed drug after being stopped by police in Aranda last night.

The black SUV was caught travelling north on Caswell Drive at around 11:20 pm before being stopped by officers a short time later on Hayden Drive in Bruce.

She has been charged with exceeding the speed limit by more than 45 km/h and driving with a prescribed drug.

She will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (7 April).
