ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate a missing 80-year-old man, Vernon Pretty.
Vernon was last seen this morning about 6.45am when he left his unit in Monash.
Vernon has dementia and is new to Canberra.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, with a grey/blue knitted cardigan and black shoes.
He is approximately 152cm (5’) tall with a stoop, of slim build with green/blue eyes, clean shaven and balding grey hair. He is missing some front teeth.
Vernon walks with a shuffle and drags his feet.
Anyone who has seen Vernon or knows his whereabouts is asked to call police on 131-444.
