Election Wrap – 17 September

By johnboy - 17 September 2008 6

Liberals:

Zed is having a poke at the Labor plans to spend up big, $500 million Zed says, on busways.

Labor:

Mr Stanhope is promising a raft of indigenous outreach if he gets the big job back.

Andrew Barr reckons he can find $11.8 million in the education budget for readin, ‘riting, n’ ‘rithmetic if the people of the ACT will just show him the love.

Jon Stanhope is committing to budget surpluses into the future.

Simon Corbell reckons that Steve Pratt wants an unaffordable number of community firefighting units whereas Labor want just enough.

Andrew Barr is mocking the Liberal plans for Molonglo. He reckons Vicki Dunne has been gagged. Something no sane man would contemplate, let alone voice.

What’s Your opinion?

I should also add that I’m quite disappointed that the Libs don’t have a raft as well.

I like rafts.

They sound as if you are actually doing something 😉

My question is, how come the Liberals are spending a small fortune on advertising, yet I’ve haven’t seen an add for the ALP yet? Mind you less election advertising the better. But it strikes me as interesting that the ALP in its wisdom is not airing any sort of compaign on the TV to counter the Zed and his mates camptaign.

It’s confusing me as well. It’s like having absolutely no idea what your enemy are up to. Much more disturbing.

MrMagoo, the ALP are advertising on RiotACT, maybe you’ve just missed it and their other stuff, like that radio ad espousing all the great things the ALP have achieved
