BIRRARANGGA Film Festival

All Ages | 60 Mins

Join our international screen leaders in a discussion that will explore the idea of Story Sovereignty and examine the age-old question: who gets to tell Indigenous stories and why?

Panellists include screen creative, actor and Festival co-curator Tony Briggs; activist, artist and actor Tāme Iti; screenwriter Boyd Quakawoot; and filmmakers Matthias Luafutu and Nina Nawalowalo.

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is proud to partner with BIRRARANGGA Film Festival, celebrating global Indigenous films that explore the curatorial themes of ‘strength, resilience and the environment’. View the full program
