The 10th of September is World Suicide Prevention Day.

At dawn each year, Lifeline Canberra invites members of the community to walk with them and remember those we’ve lost to suicide.

You can walk to remember a loved one, as a personal tribute for a friend or family member, or to show your support for Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental illness.

This year, Lifeline Canberra is holding a morning vigil at 5:45 am on the 10th of September, at the National Carillon to acknowledge those members in our community lost to suicide.

After this, they invite attendees to walk 2km with them to the Jetty cafe, across Kings Ave Bridge for a warm cuppa.

This event is free to join and is a reflective observance for those attending.

Register to walk or add a name to our memorial list at: lifelinecanberra.org.au/events/oots/.
