On an epic journey to lift the curse that afflicts him, the path of young warrior Ashitaka crosses with that of a young woman raised by wolves and known as Princess Mononoke. The pair find themselves drawn into a broader conflict between human iron ore miners and the kami (deities or spiritual beings) of the forest.

Blending elements of fantasy and Japanese history, Princess Mononoke elevated Studio Ghibli on the world stage and is widely regarded as one of illustrious Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki’s great works.
