Applications for a new $30,000 Audrey Fagan Violence Prevention Program are now open, as part of the 2012-13 ACT Women’s Grants that are now open, ACT Minister for Women Joy Burch announced today.
The 2012-13 ACT Women’s Grants help organisations develop programs to support women, with $130,000 allocated for this year’s program. Applicants can apply for grants under either the Capacity Building Project or Special Building Project Categories.
“Capacity Building projects provide funding of up to $5,000 to strengthen the capacity and effectiveness of community organisations while Special Building projects provide funding of up to $25,000 for ideas that contribute to public policy, service development or research,” Ms Burch said.
