Greenway firebugs on the loose

By johnboy - 17 September 2011 9

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a number of property damage and arson incidents in Greenway last night (Friday, September 16).

About 10pm, police responded to a report of a group of teenage males causing a disturbance at McDonalds in Greenway. The group left before police arrived and smashed a glass door while leaving.

Police searched the nearby area around Tuggeranong College and found another broken window and two recently lit fires; in a rubbish bin and vehicle. Police also found a broken window and rubbish bin that had been set alight at a nearby business on Anketell Street.

The first male is described as Caucasian, about 178cm (5’10”) tall, wearing a light coloured hooded jumper with the word “stadium” across the chest.

The second male is described as being Caucasian, about 170cm (5’7″) tall, wearing a light blue hooded jumper with dark coloured pants.

The third male is described as being Caucasian, approximately 168cm (5’6″) tall, wearing a light green coloured hooded jumper and dark coloured pants.

The fourth male was described as being Caucasian about 173cm (5’8″) tall, wearing a black hooded jumper.

The fifth male was Caucasian and looked approximately 13 years old. He was described as about 152cm (5′) tall, wearing a grey singlet and dark coloured tracksuit pants.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in Greenway around 10pm and saw any of the above incidents or anyone matching the above descriptions to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.

That’s pretty much what I garnered from this police report.

Then you need to take a course in reading comprehension it’s

Hooded jumper
Hooded jumper
Hooded jumper
No Hooded jumper

Whereas you just need to take a course in counting, as it’s actually four hoods with hoods, and one without…

Bring back conscription.

Why should the military have to deal with these scum. It would only be a good idea if you were thinking of Soviet-style penal battalions.

From recent stories about our fine cadets, such scum would be quite at home in the military

Certainly in the officer class!

Does make you wonder if there’s some general hoody stereotype these kids are trying to live up to.

Burning cars have recently been the trend in Kambah. Perhaps they were Kambah bound?

The fifth male was possibly being helped to rob someone so he too could achieve his life’s goal and acquire a hooded jumper.

Bring back conscription.

“The group left before police arrived and smashed a glass door while leaving.”

That wasn’t very nice of the cops!

(Ah, language.)
