Having a flutter on the local soccer?

The ABC has a story on concerns surrounding betting on Canberra’s football competitions:

Canberra soccer authorities have issued a warning to players and coaches to observe the game’s code of conduct following increased availability of online betting on local matches.

Capital Football says there appears to be a rise in betting on local games.

With such small betting pools one has to wonder about all sorts of skulduggery. Money laundering begins to look attractive when you can take both ends of the bet.
