RugbyHeaven reports that Julian Huxley has had enough of being a kicking coach, feels his brain tumour is clearing up nicely, and is thinking about returning to the field.
- “I haven’t completely put it to bed. I’ll certainly not put any timeframe on it at the moment, considering I haven’t done all my due diligence.” The due diligence will include an appointment with an oncologist on Wednesday, with more chemotherapy likely to be part of the recovery.
I do hope that he is allowed back on the field. This is the kind of grit and determination that I would want my kids to look up to. The man has proven that if you fight hard enough, you can achieve great things.
Best of luck to him. A fine, fine Rugby player & from all reports (& as demonstrated in how he’s handled himself in regards to the brain tumour) a stand-up guy as well.
