Buying or selling? Get the right advice

Hyatt’s big purchase?

By Kerces 20 October 2006 5

Rumour has it the management of the Hyatt Hotel are considering buying the Albert Hall, an historic site adjacent to the hotel.

I think is they do buy, it could only be an improvement on the lax maintenance regime that is currently allowing the Hall to languish in its old age.

ACT Governement I think – you can certainly book it through them.

Who owns the Albert Hall then? I had always assumed it was the Hyatt!!!

Ooh – perhaps then it would be the site of some nice masquerade balls and jazz nights, instead of cheap sheet sales.

I don’t believe they’re going to buy it, as it’s not for sale – but they are considering bidding for the long term lease on it, which has been put up for tender. Apparently tenders are supposed to include a plan for maintaining/refurbishing the hall.
