Kambah bakery robbed twice in one night

The Brumbies Bakery on Marconi Crescent in Kambah was robbed by two men wielding knives during the early hours of Wednesday morning (26 April 2017).

Two men armed with knives entered the store through the rear door at about 1.10 am and threatened a staff member. A money box containing cash was taken and the offenders fled the store on foot.

ACT Policing attended and commenced an ongoing investigation.

Police were then called back to the same location after an employee heard repeated kicking of the rear door at around 2.45 am.

Police located a broken window panel and identified that a further amount of cash had been taken.

The first man was wearing a black ‘hoodie’ jumper with the hood covering his head, a red cloth covering his face and black pants and was carrying a light brown bag. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm (5’7”) tall with a slim build.

The second man was wearing a black ‘hoodie’ jumper with the hood covering his head, a black cloth covering his face and dark blue or black pants. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm (5’11”) tall with a slim build.
