The ACT’s Labor Senator, Kate Lundy, has made her YouTube debut in what is intended to be a monthly series of wraps.

Without wishing to be mean I do wonder if, perhaps, a little more locallity, and a little more substance might make them a bit more, well, interesting.

(I should also note that she’s dramatically upgraded her website. The watery anigif is gone!)

Four minutes is a bit long …

Jim Jones – simply fantastic… will be better when they fix the speed up thing.

Boring.. but a concept to make it more interesting would be if she was taped doing whatever she does and then made a vodcast of herself in fastplay with Bennie Hill music in the background… hehehehe

I’d be more inclined to watch again.

Easy done:

As Micheal George said ” Wake me up before I gogo”!

So it took her 4 minutes and 11 seconds to tell us that she’s been doing jack sh!t and will continue to do so?

It was like a little kid telling us what she’s looking forward to doing at big school, except it was the equivalent of the child telling us that she has to sit still and not move for the next two months to watch the paint on the wall dry and the grass to grow.

It was a bit dry and dull, as you would expect.

The production quality really annoyed me though. The silent watch my funky fade transition felt like a high school effort and frustrating if you are trying to just listen without watching. Then there’s the credits section with blue text on a blue flower, very brave.

ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz… huh? what happened?

*mind you she’s doing well since the topics are relatively dry- it’s not meant to be infotainment.

Wow! She’s got great skin! I thought it was a useful way to share information and less boring than wading through a lot of boring reading. I’m torn between admiring her because she attended my former high school (Hello, Big Gers!) and being annoyed that she never answered my email on BER funding being unfair to special schools.

I reckon she’s done all right for her first go. She does a lot of work behind the scenes, and I particularly like the fact that she’s still fighting for some equity with Comsuper pensions. Go for it, Kate!

couldn’t agree more, jb. a little less about simply outlining what her job description is and a lot more of filling in just how she’ll do it, on what basis of principle will she act to do so, and mebbe some more on what she has achieved moreso than what she will set about participating in.

I’m afraid it was a little dull Kate.
