Laser printer repair in Canberra?

Garema Place 23 December 2013 5

Fellow Rioters,

Any suggestions on a cheap, reliable southside laser printer repairer? I have a Samsung Three in One printer. The manual feed works; the automatic (tray) feed does not, with the machine telling me it has no paper. It does.

I’m not prepared to spend largish dollars on this as new laser printers are as cheap as secondhand socks.

Well, almost.

Thanks in advance.

Compliments of the Season.

Hi Mate,

We have an old printer which prints out stickers and coupons. It is pretty old but does the job very well. We had an issue with it and had contacted who are in Fyshwick.

They had fixed the issue and also gave the old machine a general servicing.

My 2 cents.

Sounds like you’ve got dust all through the sensor and rollers. They are a throw away job, but doesn’t hurt to pull apart and have a play

On the throwaway theme, went looking for a laminator today. Chanced upon a blue-themed office supplies store in Braddon, and went in to survey the possibility of a purchase. Came away with an A3 laminator (for home use as clearly stated on the box) complete with 50 laminating pouches (yes, A3 as well) for…

wait for it….

no, not $49.95…

$10.00. I mean seriously, if the thing doesn’t work, it’s hardly worth the time and effort to claim warranty, and after a year it’s definitely binnable at the first sign of trouble.

Printers are a throw away item these days. I doubt you will find a repairer let alone a “cheap” repairer.

Samsung is your problem.

Pick up a second hand HP LaserJet from Allbids and be done with it.
