Macquarie Southern Cross Club rolled

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery that occurred at the Canberra Southern Cross Club, Macquarie early this morning (March 29).

About 12.05am, two men armed with knives entered the club and approached a staff member while making demands for cash.

The staff member complied with the demands and provided the men with a sum of cash. The two men fled the club via a side door which exits to the car park behind the club.

The first man is described as 5’11 (180cm) in height and was wearing a black ‘hoodie’, grey pants, white gloves and sneakers. His face was concealed by a brown mask.

The other man is described as Aboriginal in appearance, around 5’7” (170cm) in height, wearing a black ‘hoodie’, grey pants and white sneakers with black stripes.
