ACT Magistrates Court

Police last night arrested a 23-year-old Macquarie woman who will today face court on first instance warrant, minor theft, ride/drive motor vehicle without consent and fail to appear after bail undertaking charges.

Investigations are ongoing into a number of other offences.

Police said they would oppose bail in the ACT Magistrates Court.

ACT Policing had identified the woman as a priority, believing she was responsible for a number of failures to stop upon police direction and reckless/dangerous driving.

After investigations into the whereabouts of the woman, police located her inside a Kambah residence last night. She was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House.

A police officer suffered minor injuries when he was bitten by a dog during the arrest.
