Man left with critical injuries after incident at Mt Ainslie look-out

A 26-year-old man is in hospital with critical injuries after an incident at the Mt Ainslie look-out last night (3 June).

ACT Policing is investigating. They believe the man may have been involved in an altercation with other people. He was later found by a friend lying on the road.

Police arrived at the scene about 11:40 pm. The man was assessed by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics and transported to the Canberra Hospital.

Several people are assisting police with their enquiries. ACT Policing’s Major Collisions Team is investigating the incident and encourage anyone else who may have information to come forward.
