A 75-year-old man has died after a two-vehicle crash on the Monaro Highway near Cooma this morning.
About 10.50 am today, (22 May 2018), a 75-year-old man was driving on the Monaro Highway, seven kilometres north of Cooma, when his vehicle collided with another vehicle heading in the opposite direction.
The man died at the scene and his female passenger was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle will undergo mandatory testing.
Police from Monaro Police District are investigating the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The Monaro Highway is currently alternating to allow motorists to pass in both directions.
