A motorcycle rider is in a stable condition after an accident on Hindmarsh Drive this afternoon.
A spokesperson from the ACT Emergency Services Agency said the collision involved the driver of a motor vehicle and the male rider of a motorcycle, who was trapped under the vehicle for a short period of time.
“The male motorcyclist sustained some lower limb injuries and was in a stable condition while being treated by paramedics from the ACT Ambulance Service,” the ESA spokesperson said.
At around 3:30 pm, ACT Policing said Hindmarsh Drive was completely closed near the intersection with Bangalay Crescent and all traffic was being diverted.
Police have asked motorists to avoid the area.
