New retro/alternative/goth shop in Civic

By meerkat 4 October 2005 7

There’s a new retro/alternative/goth shop in Civic, Lady Fuzzington, selling guys + girls clothes.

I visited it this weekend, and I think it’s exactly the kind of thing Civic needs more of, especially bringing new life into the Sydney building. There’s some cool cartoon art drawn on the staircase leading up to the shop, too.

Level 1, Sydney Building, 11-13 East Row, Civic Interchange. Ph 6247 6096.

Disclaimer – I have no connection to the shop, I just thought it was cool, and the kind of thing that people should encourage in Canberra.

retro/alternative = antidote to `boring’.

I do have more than one black shirt, but I’m sure that doesn’t count.

My partner is an ex semi goth. Does that count?

Wonder if they’ll buy my Safari suit, I’ll throw in for free the steel comb that is usually tucked in the top of the knee-length socks.
And, meerkat, you can have the strip of leopard skin that goes around the felt hat. I got out of fur some time back.
