Each year the NFSA recognises and honours a leading Australian figure in film preservation by awarding the NFSA Ken G Hall Award for Film Preservation.
This year the Award will be presented during the Canberra International Film Festival, on Wednesday 2 November, and will celebrate the work of producer David Hannay for his support and advocacy of archival film needs over more than 40 years. David will speak about the importance of film archiving and introduce his film Death Of A Soldier.
This is a free event, however bookings are essential – phone 02 6248 2000.
