Are we finally, finally getting a new stadium? Or is it all hot air? The Hoot podcast is here with news and views from Ngunnawal country as Ross Solly and Genevieve Jacobs debate Territory rights, Territory infrastructure and Territory board games.

The Calvary Hospital acquisition saga rolls on, with new developments every other week. This time it’s the acquisition of Clare Holland House – perhaps predictable under the circumstances.

The Canberra Theatre has been the most recent victor in the longstanding contest over the ACT’s relatively modest infrastructure budget, much to the chagrin of those who want a big, bright, shiny stadium befitting national-level sporting events.

But will this week’s announcement about both a stadium and a new entertainment and conference venue satisfy those who want to see State of Origin or international tests here in Canberra?
