Police ask for public’s help in investigating attempted burglary at Wright on Boxing Day

Police are asking for the public’s help in their investigation of an attempted aggravated burglary in Wright on Boxing Day.

At about 11:15 pm on Wednesday 26 December, two people allegedly attempted to forcefully gain entry to a home in Philip Hodgins Street, Wright. When they failed to do so, they left the area.

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations team is seeking the public’s assistance in providing any CCTV or dash-cam footage from the area of Philip Hodgins Street, Wright and John Gorton Drive, Coombs late on Boxing Day.

They are also asking for information from residents in the surrounding area who may have witnessed the incident or seen the alleged offenders.
