Police issue appeal after car hits school student in Phillip

Police are calling for assistance from the public after an alleged hit and run incident involving a school student in Phillip on Wednesday morning (14 November).

Around 8:30 am, a Canberra College student was hit by a red Kia while crossing Callam Street, Phillip next to the Woden Bus Interchange.

The student was not injured, however the driver of the motor vehicle and the student did not exchange details.

Police would like to speak to the driver of the Kia and to anyone who witnessed the incident or who can provide any other information about the red Kia.

Anyone who may have information that could assist police is urged to call 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
