Police look for ring thief who allegedly robbed Gungahlin jewellery store

Police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly robbed a jewellery store in the Gungahlin Marketplace two months ago and are calling for the public’s help to identify the alleged thief.

Around 11 am on 25 October, a man allegedly left the store with two white gold rings and fled towards Hibberson Street. ACT Policing has released a CCTV still image of the man who they believe stole the two rings.

The man was wearing a black T-shirt with a distinctive white skull design on the front. He is described as Caucasian in appearance, of solid build, 160-170 cm (5’3”-5’7”) tall, with balding light brown hair.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
