NSW Police investigating the death of a motorcyclist in the State’s south yesterday are calling for witnesses to come forward.

Police said emergency services were called to Oallen Ford Road, Oallen, 97 kilometres south-east of Goulburn, about 3:30 pm yesterday after reports a 70-year-old man had veered off the road down an embankment.

They said the man’s friend contacted Triple Zero (000) with a passerby administering first aid until emergency services arrived.

Officers attached to Monaro Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report would be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/
