johnboy, sorry, this was off-topic.. it was police business from March 27th not March 30th, still wonder why the club needed police attendance, and didnt simply lock the doors.

I should have googled before I posted…

Apparently .. “The board … then made the difficult decision not to reopen the business.” … “No complaints were received from patrons and there was no involvement by the Health Department.”

Seems like its time to go in and make a complaint, since Im a patron and no other patrons have apparently complained.

We visited the restaurant 83 many times, for many special occasions. This will be a sad day to see this restaurant gone. My entire family are members of the club for no reason other than the restaurant, if the club has made a deliberate act to force these people out, I will be making a deliberate act to take my membership card in and tell them to put it where it fits. 83 Restaurant has been in operation for 14 years, and we have become good friends with the owners over the time.

Lets wait and see what comes of it.

No mention of what went on inside the Woden Tradies and the escorting out of the building the staff of Restaurant 83?
I used to work there (club, not restaurant) as an over-worked, under-paid lackey and was interested in what is happening. That restaurant was always dodgy.

Be angry sure, but let them take what they want. It’s not worth getting hurt or worse.
