Police seek witnesses to car, bicycle crash on Cotter Road

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist on Cotter Road on Saturday, 4 May.

An ACT Policing spokesperson said they were called to the collision between a silver Mazda CX9 SUV and a cyclist at the intersection of the Cotter Road and Greenhills, Stromlo about 9 am.

The cyclist, a 36-year-old man, was treated at the scene by ACT Ambulance Service paramedics before being transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the CX9 has been identified and is providing assistance to investigators.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have dash-cam footage of the collision. Police would particularly like to speak to the driver of a red hatchback that was in the vicinity of the collision at the time.
