Canberra is set to enjoy a selection of the most exciting and heart-racing short films fresh from the annual BANFF Mountain Film Festival in Canada as the Radical Reels roadshow rolls into town this weekend.

Akin to our Canadian counterparts, Canberrans here in the bush capital are big fans of the great outdoors. It’s in our nature.

This Sunday 26 November, instead head indoors over at the National Film and Sound Archive for an adventure sports adrenaline injection. Friday and Saturday’s sessions are now completely sold out so this could be your last chance. With enough demand, the team might even have to throw on yet another screening. Having attended before, the enthusiasm for these breathtakingly spectacular films comes as no surprise.

The three-hour cavalcade of mountain-biking, skiing, snowboarding, climbing, paddling, base-jumping, wing-suiting, and all things extreme eye-candy kicks off at 7:00PM.

Secure your seats for Sunday’s screening HERE, and then fasten your seatbelts.
