Beautiful one minute, god awful the next. The Raiders terrible run away from home continues, going down 22-18 to a pumped up Newcastle Kinights.
The Raiders played a decent first half with plenty of defence, and stole a try right before half time to lead 6-4. After the break the Raiders plyed about 10 minutes of decent football, before the defence line broke into chaos allowing the Knights to score 3 easy tries, incluidng a frakish try by Brad Thye that should of never been scored, to lead 22-6. Two late tries by the Raiders was too little too late, letting the Knights win the game 22-18, in a scoreline that is flattering to the Raiders. Once again it is back to drawing board for Neil Henry and the Raiders. One win away from the top 4 is about as close as we will get this season or so it appears.
Once again I am interested to see what our other raiders fantics think. I am also curious to know, does anyone from the Raiders army besides me read this website?
