An exploration of both the musical fugue and the psychological fugue state arrives at The Street Theatre this weekend. While You Sleep is a work for string quartet and electronics that fuses sonics, video and animation to delve into the psyche of the unwaking world.

Lucy Ridge and the Derby Widows are gearing up to launch their debut EP Daydrinking, Overthinking this Friday at The Polo in Turner. The soul and blues band come complete with a horn section and electrifying vocals courtesy of lead singer Lucy Ridge. Get down early to catch Betty Alto and Tori Nikias supporting.

The new-look Transit Bar is also busy this weekend, with the Mobius Improv Jam returning on Wednesday and dystopian punk trio ARSE performing on Thursday.
