It’s safe to say that this recent wave of COVID-related lockdowns and restrictions is wreaking havoc on the music industry nationwide. Sadly, that includes the ACT as well, with a whole host of local shows being either postponed or outright cancelled this week.
In all likelihood, we haven’t yet seen the end of the wave of cancellations, so it’s best to follow the links and check with venues before you head out.
All that said, there are plenty of shows that we are hoping and praying are actually able to happen. Canberra punk trio Sketch Method is back with a new single, ‘Panic! At The Costco’. The launch party is set for Friday night at The Basement with Box Dye, Wolfpack, and Signs & Symbols. Cathy Diver is launching her new single this week as well. Here ‘Elimatta Hotel’ show is slated for Saturday evening at Gang Gang with Jim Dusty, Lily Morris, and s.wells supporting.
