An 82-year-old Farrer woman has died at The Canberra Hospital today after being seriously injured in last Thursday’s fatal collision on Yamba Drive, Farrer.

The woman was the passenger of the vehicle driven by the 84-year-old man who died at the scene.

Her death takes the 2015 ACT road toll to 13.

ACT Policing is investigating after initially responding to a report into the two-vehicle collision at about 11.55am last Thursday.

ACT Ambulance Service commenced CPR on the male driver at the scene but were unable to revive him.

The woman passenger who has since died was transported to The Canberra Hospital along with the driver and passenger of the second vehicle that afternoon.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via https://act.crimestoppers.com.au.
