Police are investigating reports of a second spud cannon attack in the past 10 days after a passing car was fired at in the early hours of Thursday morning (24 January).
Police said they were called to Adelaide Avenue, Deakin around 2:30 am with reports of property damage after it was believed a spud cannon was fired at a passing car.
It is understood the attack caused significant damage to the car, including a smashed windscreen.
The latest attack comes after a man was hospitalised after being shot at by a passing car on William Hovell Drive, Belconnen last week.
Police said the matter is currently under investigation and urged anyone with information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
