The SAD Sessions ’09 round 2

By TheSADSessions - 19 August 2009 0

The SAD Sessions ’09 is entering into its second lot of concerts this friday the 21st of August and the following friday the 28th of August at Corroboree Park Hall Ainslie. Those who attended the last two back in June will know that they’re in for a good night and hopefully we’ll see some new faces too. It’s a BYO event but there will be soup and mulled wine for sale as well as a Red Cross cup cake stand and free tea. Hooray!

The Details are:
Friday the 21st August:

Mal Webb (SA)
Drew Walky
The Ellis Collective
+ special guest Nick Delatovic doing a few impromptu songs

$10 at the door starts, at 8pm sharp @ Corroboree Park Hall Ainslie

Friday the 28th of August:

Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens
Aaron Peacey
Sanjiva de Silva
+ that wacky Nicky D once again.

And once again: $10 at the door, starts at 8pm sharp @ Corroboree Park Hall Ainslie .

Hope to see you there
cheers,
Sam

[Ed – Che] Thanks to BloodNut who also submitted this as Sam doesn’t like to blow his own trumpet.

The Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) Sessions are the brain child of musician/sound engineer/all-round-good-bloke Sam King. This four part series of performances are intended to alleviate the worst of your winter ailments.

All acoustic and recorded live, each artist will feature on a compilation to be available later this year released on CD – each audience member can say they were a part of making it… You can already listen to some of the material already recorded featuring artists including Vorn Doolette, Hashemoto, The New Neighbours, The Understudy, Tom Woodward and The Wedded Bliss.
