Daily flights from Canberra
to Singapore and the world

This week on 7.30 ACT

By johnboy 1 November 2013 2

This in from our friends at the ABC:

Snakes on the Plains ( I know, it’s really bad ) Snakes abound at the moment. If you live in NSW, you can get someone to catch them and take them away – but in the ACT you might just have to learn to live with them.

Centenary Trail – Jim Trail rides his bike along it.

Footy – Keith Miller has written a book about Manuka football club and its role in early Canberra history.. nice old archival pics.

Old Linton – old house in Yass – former home of wool baron Triggs is open at the weekend – and up for sale. It has 46 rooms – incl 13 bathrooms – and is for sale – over 4 million.

Canberra Brass – play a rousing rendition of Highland Cathedral.
