Three die, including child, in Easter road tragedy

The Easter holiday break turned to tragedy early this morning (Saturday 3 April), when three people, including a young child, were killed in a single vehicle car accident.

The three died after their car left the road and hit a tree on the South Coast about 13 km south of Ulladulla. A fourth passenger was airlifted to hospital but his condition is unknown.

The female driver and two passengers died at the scene and are yet to be formally identified.

Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, Lake Tabourie, at about 4:30 am.

A crime scene has been established while the area continues to be examined and the circumstances of the crash are investigated.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
