Our Tuggies have sent in word about their youth development plans for the Summer:

Tuggeranong United have re-appointed their two youth coaches, and will add a Summer Academy for promising players as part of their continuing commitment to youth development. Vince Ruiz and Stan Mitchell will remain as Premier League Under 18 and Premier League 16 coaches respectively for the 2013 season.

The inaugural TUFC Summer Academy will see coaches from the club’s PL program run sessions for promising boys and girls aged 10 to 15 years. The aim of the program is to develop and identify players to feed into the 2013 Premier League squads. For the first time this will include PL Under 12s and Under 14s, which Tuggeranong United sees as a positive step forward. Interested players or their parents and coaches should contact tufc.juniors@gmail.com by 27 September.

Stan Mitchell is still coaching? Good grief. At least his son is too old to be miraculously picked in his team each year, regardless of talent.

Real classy buddy…you should be really proud of yourself

I would have to agree with Battlecat, Nice work Ghandi, way to promote your relaxed and spiritual handle

Are you a fustrated footballer that was once coached by Stan were you ? Didnt cut the grade Im guessing or were you dropped for another player, his son maybe?

Where are you playing now Ghandi, if you ever played at all, or are you a League or AFL player that just likes slagging on anything Football related or maybe playing in the Churches league Grow up you muppet, Tuggeranong United have a vision and are putting things into place to grow the club to be the most professional club in the ACT without the backing of licenced clubs that just throw money at them…..

Should be a great day of top quality football. Come along and watch Canberra’s best – the U16s kick off at 10am. But please, leave your flares and fireworks at home!

It will be a great day of football, I’ll be there.

Stan Mitchell is still coaching? Good grief. At least his son is too old to be miraculously picked in his team each year, regardless of talent.

While Tuggers plan for next year, this year’s Champions are yet to be decided – but will be so tomorrow at McKellar Park.

Belconnen Utd have teams in all four Grand Finals tomorrow. U16s, U18s, Pathways and Mens. The two younger age groups against strong Woden sides, the Pathways team against Canberra FC and the Mens against Cooma.

Should be a great day of top quality football. Come along and watch Canberra’s best – the U16s kick off at 10am. But please, leave your flares and fireworks at home!
