Two-car accident in Farrer causes road closures

ACT Police are advising motorists to avoid Yamba Drive, near Beasley Street, in Farrer after a two-car crash this afternoon.

This afternoon’s hail and rain have caused havoc with traffic during the peak hour run home.

A two-car accident has occurred shortly after 5:30 pm at Yamba Drive, near Beasley Street, in Farrer.

Emergency services are on the scene and treating those injured.

Road closures are in place with all traffic being diverted left onto Beasley Street.

There is also no right turn from Beasley Street into Yamba Drive (towards the hospital), with all traffic being diverted left onto Yamba Drive.

ACT Police advise motorists to please avoid the area.
