Two people will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning after officers from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations executed a search warrant on a house in Kambah yesterday (Sunday, 18 January).

About 10.00am yesterday, officers executed the warrant with assistance from the AFP Dog Team. The resident of the house, a 52-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man visiting from Sydney, NSW were located within.

During the execution of the warrant, officers located a quantity of illicit drugs, suspected to be methylamphetamine and a large sum of cash.

The man and woman were arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watchhouse and charged with drug offences.

Both will be facing the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 19 January) where bail will be opposed.
