Two men with weapons rob McDonald's Erindale

Two men wearing face coverings and brandishing weapons robbed McDonald’s Erindale early yesterday morning, making off with a wad of cash.

Police are seeking witnesses to the aggravated robbery which occurred at 2.15 am on Monday, August 28.

“About 2.15am two males wearing dark clothing, face coverings and gloves entered the main entrance of McDonalds Erindale holding a weapon each,” said a statement from ACT Policing.

“One male approached a staff member brandishing a weapon, and asked for the manager before both males walked through to the office.

“The males took a sum of cash from a safe and till drawers before leaving the restaurant through the front door and fleeing on foot,” the statement said.
