Update on the vexed Cotter Road roadworks

By johnboy - 5 July 2013 2

TAMS are letting the increasingly fractious motoring public know:

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that as of later today, traffic will be diverted on to the new section of Cotter Road between Dunrossil Drive and Yarralumla Creek bridge.

Work will continue on the unfinished section of Cotter Road, with works expected to be completed in August 2013 (weather permitting).

Barriers as well as warning and diversion signs will be erected.

The ACT Government thanks motorists and other road users for their patience during this work.

What’s Your opinion?

Road works in this city really are a debacle. Poor planning and crap execution. It doesn’t take years to build a section of road.

End of August 2014 maybe…
What happened to the slip lane that was surposed to be open untill the work was completed looks like it has been closed off this morning.
